Meeting the Hoosiers help

For those of you who have read my Introduction Thread, you may remember me saying that I would be ecstatic if I met the Hoosiers after their concert (well everyone here should want to meet them). Soo... does anyone know where the Hoosiers go after they've finished playing at their concerts? I know not many (or none) of you are going to see them in Brighton so I'm not expecting the exact place, but just a rough idea of where exactly they go, like, the foyer etc.

Hi there-I was at their Dublin gig at the start of their tour, and either they were all in a bad mood, or else we scared them stupid, because I tried to find somewhere to meet them, but the burly, evil security guards wouldn't have it.
They ushered everyone out the theatre as soon as they stepped off stage, and were shooing everyone away from the outside of the theatre.
Luckily my fiance and I were staying at the hotel literally opposite the venue, so after feeling down about not getting to see them, we were heading out to drown our sorrows in one of the Irish bars.
On our way, we spotted the roadies loading up the tourbus outside the theatre, so we stopped hoping the boys were on board, but were told they had all gone out for a meal.
Never got to meet them, and am still reeling from it today!
So, to get back to your question, I'd love to know how to meet them too!

Why would the security guards not leave you meet the Hoosiers? That's a crime!! And it's also kind of half the point why people go and see them in concert.

Aww... sorry you didn't get to meet them. Hopefully you'll get to meet them soon :D

Thanks-I was so p-eed off about not getting to see them!
I was desperate to get them to sign my CD-gave it to the roadie, along with money for postage, and was promised they would get it done the next day, and still haven't seen it almost a month later!!
Mind you, I'd have been a stammering wreck in front of the boys-they would've probably called a mental hospital to come and remove me.
Still love to meet them though-maybe Martin and I could start something beautiful...

hehe yeah well maybe if they see all this they might try look out for you if you go to theirr gig or something or wait somewher to say helo afterr :p :)

Oh yeah you wrote a thread about that didn't you? I learnt a lesson from reading that: never trust a roadie!
I'd rather keep my CD unsigned than give it to a (untrustworthy) roadie!

And yep-learnt my lesson now.
Guess I was naive in thinking that all roadies out there are sweet and kind and cuddle little fluffy bunnies all day.
They really run down kittens and puppies in big tanks just for the fun of it!

i have met irwin twice, martin once and Alf once! ummm.... if you wait for a really long time you might get to meet them, i had to wait about an hour before i spied Alphonzo.

I made Irwin a cake at 1.30am
I couldn't fit 27 candels on so there about 21ish
