Dour Festival 17th july

Got my Dour ticket today! :D :D (i need an even bigger smile ;))
Going to see The Hoosiers in 37 days! Can't wait!

Anyone else going?
It's near the border with France, so maybe some of the french fans? :)

Yeah, I am happy and lucky to go. It's gonna take me a while to get there (i'm going by train) and i'm stuck there til 5 in the morning (trains...;)). But it's gonna be fun, how can it not be, it's a festival with The Hoosiers!? Maybe meet some fellow hoosiers-fans who haven't discovered this forum yet ;)

But mine is a festival, which is great, but i'd love to go to a real Hoosiers concert too, haven't done that :s Must be so much fun to be surrounded by Hoosiers-fans. You'll have lots of fun, it will be worth the waiting ;)

Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa Tomorrow is THE day! *happy dance* I'm so excited about seeing our boys again! Can't decide what to wear, not going fancy dressed though ;-)

It was amazing! Obviously... :D
I was at the front row, so i could take great pics, but i was so caught up in clapping, singing along,... that i didn't really take lots of them :-s
I'll upload them as soon I find the time and the cable thingy to connect my camera to the pc ;-)

I didn't take those though, but they are great!

What to tell.... they did most songs of the album, except for money to be made and clinging on for life. They also did swear it on your life and did the we didn't start the fire cover :-) So happy i finally heard that cover live, it was great fun. They started with WCS and ended with WAR, can't remember the order of the other songs.
Sam came along, dressed as spiderman (love that guy), and there also was a superman-musician.

I miss them already. Don't know how many days till i see them again, have fun at their gig in 99 days ;-)

They are coming back to Belgium on the 31th of august (yayness!!!!) so i'll make up for the lack of pics then by taking millions ;) I sort of feel kinda bad about seeing them in less than 96 days though, you should all come to belgium, they would love that!

Don't they always take the birds? Hadn't noticed it before but kinda figured they did. They all had one, Martin had the crow, Irwin had a finch, Al had an owl and Sam had a seagull (methinks)

:-s I kinda like Irwin with a beard, gives him an extra edge... but i always like all of them, they could be on stage naked with messy hair *trying really hard not to picture that in my head* ;-) and i'd still think they look amazing :p

Irwin pants were this blue-purple-grey-ish colour, it went pretty well with the sparkly blue guitar too :)

When Martin was facing Al, Al was constantly making funny faces and such. It was cute :D

It's a pretty big festival, so there were loads of international bands, don't know which were from the uk.
I saw Foals, i think they are british. Hadn't heard of them before, apperantly they're a hype, and they are really good. I also went to see Goldfrapp, not a clue were they are from though :s I only went one day (Hoosiers-day!!!) but the festival is 4 days, so i must have missed lots of English band. Saw the best one though :D
