So I've been looking around and there's a twitter that says what's being played on R1, so if you don't want to listen to the radio all day, just have a look at *this* every now and then.

There's also *this* amazing website which tells you how many times each radio station has played the track, which will come in handy.

So let's get going

I know we've all been doing promo anyway on twitter, facebook etc but radio is obviously a strong focal point!

I'm not sure why Heart aren't playing Choices yet, i'm gonna get onto my local Essex Heart.

i can tell you now that making a reqest for the song is going to make more of a diffrence then telling the presenter that you love the song
radio stations cont there reqests (to help them with comptions and interviews that they run) most radio sations also have there own chart show where they only take there number of reqests into accont
so there going to take it into a cont more that the song is much loved by there target audance also most people lisen to any radio station going in the car or doing housework
resqesting the song gets it played more witch therefore gets the song more liseners witch is more of a better promotion sales wise
now i know some of you are think reqesting cost you dont have to text to reqest you can reqest via there online site so get reqesting

Sounds like a really good idea! I think that Liz has got the right idea and that we should all text the radio station at the same time requesting choices :L

That's what I was thinking - requesting the song repeatedly ie/pestering Radio 1 to play it - is going to make more of a difference rather than waiting till they play it (which has been so far, very few and far between). They might not play it again for ages if people don't keep requesting it.
