They just have too many fantastic songs to name, but I could try - Take A Bow, Resistance, Plug In Baby, Blackout, Supermassive Black Hole, Hysteria, Uprising, Time Is Running Out, Butterflies and Hurricanes, Invincible....no I really can't list them all. Oh, and Knights Of Cydonia is a modern masterpiece, no other song that is purely instrumental a lot of the time can hold your attention like it (sorry Feeling You Get When)
As for the "all the early stuff was better" debate, I think all their albums (apart from Showbiz, too inconsistent) are equally great and if anything Black Holes And Revelations and The Resistance edge it because they are more varied without ever dipping in quality, which is very hard to do, Absolution was too samey, especially near the end. I think Muse are better than any other artist at mixing genres successfully - I have high hopes for the Hoosiers in terms of being able to transcend genres, let's see what they're like after 5 albums...
I can't wait to see them at T in the Park!! It will be bliss (oh wait, there's another good song)
I wouldn't say any of those songs you listed are the best songsEspecially not Resistance!
I totally 100% disagree with about the albums lol

Katie, what are your favourite Muse songs? Most of them are fantastic but, I would say that 2 of the most amazing ones are Butterflies & Hurricanes and Citizen Erased. I would say that Absolution is one of their best albums![]()
Ha ha lol
fair enough, I just don't really care for certain stuff like the the weird electronic waste of time at the end of Space Dementia
I do LOVE Citizen Erased though, I should have mentioned it and was so glad when they played it at Glastonbury

(they haven't done it since the Absolution tour in '04)
I love Resistance!! Boo Hoo.... it's so atmospheric and has loads of different parts - when it breaks into "love is our RESIIISSSTAANCE....WON'T STOP breaking us dowwwwwn!" for me it's one of those hands-in-the-air anthemic moments seldom heard in music (although I must admit I hear a bit of A Little Respect by Erasure in the middle eight melody - "the night has reached its end/we can't pretend" = "I'm so in love with you/I'll be forever true...")
And Take A Bow, from BH&R, is a sheer exercise in building drama and tension, some songs just don't make sense unless you listen to them in a darkened room with no outside distractions
Each to their own, I guess! (I do like all their albums, and at least we both like Muse![]()
Muse have played Citizen Erased live since the '04 Absolution Tour. They played it at Wembley Stadium on 16th June '07 (we went on 17th June). I know it's not on the HAARP CD/DVD of the event but that's because they infuriatingly didn't put all the tracks from the 2 nights on there. They omitted Microcuts and Citizen Erased from 16th June and Sing for Absolution and Bliss from the 17th. I'd love it if they played all of those again at Wembley this September but that may be asking for too much.

Yeah atleast we both like them Unidentifiable(can't remember if you said your name?) It's the people that don't like them at all that baffle me
